Cinematography and direction for ELLE India's digital cover story featuring Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer.
The project comprises three pieces shot in a single day at the Shreyas Iyer cover shoot for ELLE India: the cover film itself, a behind-the-scenes piece capturing the rhythm of the production, and a conversational Q&A with Shreyas between setups.
The brief was observational across all three — capture the work of building a cover image without performing for the camera, and let the talent's personality lead the Q&A in a register the cover frame can't carry. Natural light, restrained interventions, and the kind of in-between moments that don't survive into the final cover image but live perfectly in the BTS.
