The Brief
The first brand ambassador campaign in the Indian market, and its first with Triptii Dimri. Built around Summer Signature, a collection rooted in ease, comfort and glamour, the film had to establish both the woman and the brand relationship in a single register that felt modern, Indian, and believable.
The Decision
The idea, when we set it down against the brief, was almost stubborn in its restraint. A film not about a woman performing sexiness for the room, but about a woman who has already made her peace with the room and finds the whole question of performance rather beside the point. Movement in place of posing. Ease in place of effort. A sensuality that arrives on its own terms and asks nothing of the viewer.
Building the World
Studio equipment was left in view rather than tidied out of frame. The furniture and objects gave her something to inhabit, not a mark to hit. The set felt lived-in enough to create behaviour and graphic enough to hold the fashion campaign quality. The intention was to sit somewhere between editorial fashion, campaign film and candid observation.
Three Collections, One Woman
Summer Signature was the hero world, soft and playful and iconic. Very Sexy was a heightened, Indo-Western expression, built around shine and occasion. Cool Air was the lightest, most physical of the three, built on movement and comfort. Different personalities, one continuous through-line.
Performance
The direction shifted early. The initial references leaned towards strong, boss-like fashion poses, but the register wanted something quieter. So the note became not "give us sexy" but "just be comfortable in the space." That let the performance move between quiet, playful, confident, sensual, casual and powerful without her ever feeling like she was switching characters.
One Ecosystem
The shoot was built as a single visual world rather than a set of separate deliverables. Main film, statics, the Conversation with Triptii, the Bra Fit piece, the App Callout, Very Sexy film, Q&A, Cool Air film, pre-buzz. Same set, same styling, same lighting, same personality, generating everything.
What the Film Is About
On paper, a Victoria's Secret Summer Signature campaign. Creatively, a reframing of sexy as something owned rather than performed. Victoria's Secret brought the codes it has spent decades perfecting. Triptii brought a quieter, more considered, more her own version of the woman they exist for. The film lives in the space between the two.
