This editorial brought together Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora for a series of ELLE Gourmet videos built around food, conversation, and sibling chemistry — candid, warm, and intentionally unscripted.
The goal was to keep everything feeling natural on screen, even when the process behind it was anything but.

Production Context
The shoot took place inside a live, operational restaurant located in an old vintage building in Bandra. The space had small rooms, tight corners, and low ceilings — visually rich, but challenging from a lighting and movement perspective.
Shooting while the restaurant was running meant adapting continuously, working around staff and guests, and making quick decisions without disrupting the environment.
Challenges

Multiple videos had to be delivered within a tight window, which meant constantly planning ahead while shooting in the moment.

• Limited space and lighting constraints
Small rooms restricted light placement and camera movement, pushing us to rely heavily on available light and compact setups.

• Forward planning under pressure
Lighting and framing for upcoming setups had to be locked while current shots were still rolling, leaving no room for hesitation.
