A project built around stillness, precision, and presence.
Featuring A.R. Rahman, this ELLE India digital cover moved across three formats — a motion cover, a candid Q&A, and a behind-the-scenes film — each capturing a different layer of the same voice.
Rahman’s approach to music is deeply internal. Quiet, intentional, and grounded in faith. The visual language followed the same direction — minimal setups, controlled movement, and frames that allowed space for thought rather than performance.
Nothing rushed. Nothing forced.

Approach
The intent was simple: stay out of the way.
Rather than over-direct, the camera observed. Small movements, pauses, and in-between moments became the core of the storytelling. The goal wasn’t to build energy — it was to hold it.
Each format served a purpose:
• Motion Cover — Presence and visual identity
• Q&A — Voice and personality
• BTS — Process and environment
Together, they formed a complete editorial narrative.

Production Notes
Working with Rahman meant working with a certain level of clarity. Every element — from sound to pacing — carried intent.
Even music selection became part of that process. Choices were precise, and anything that didn’t meet that standard was rethought. A reminder that details don’t just support the work — they define it.
