A tribute to the quiet strength of the sibling bond.
This year’s Raksha Bandhan film and stills for Zouk celebrate the brothers who don’t ask for the spotlight but never miss a moment to show up — holding bags, offering quiet support, and backing their sisters as they chase their dreams.

The visual approach was minimal, emotional, and rooted in everyday warmth. No overt theatrics — just clean composition, soft contrasts, and storytelling that felt real. Every frame was designed to feel like a familiar memory. A moment you’ve seen before. A feeling you’ve lived through.

Challenges & Learnings
This one tested me.
No recce. Four lights. A single room promised for stills. The kind of setup where you either complain — or adapt fast.
Morning of the shoot, I was diagnosed with viral fever. High temperature. The works. Doctor advised tests and rest. But I wasn’t about to hand in excuses. Not on this one.
I travelled two hours to the studio with a foggy head and a clear goal. Did a lightning-fast scan of the space, convinced production we needed more. Got access to better areas, and rebuilt the plan on the fly.
Despite every constraint, we delivered images that exceeded expectations. The campaign was approved without hesitation.
What I learned:
Your body might give out. Your eye and instinct won’t.
A great crew is everything.
Limited gear is never an excuse. It’s just a different kind of problem to solve.
No matter how bad the day starts, it’s how you finish that counts.
